In Love with Jazz!
Join vocalist, Ella Wolfe and The Joan Cifarelli Trio for a concert of jazzy love songs! Featuring loveable tunes ranging from swinging toe-tappers to bluesy torch songs, all about the ups and downs of amour.
This yearly jazz series hosts concerts in the Sanctuary at Clayton Valley Presbyterian Church. With its rich tonal quality and acoustics, the Sanctuary has become a favorite venue for Bay Area musicians to perform and audiences to relax and enjoy the resonant sound.

The Joan Cifarelli Trio with vocalist Ella Wolfe: Classical and jazz pianist Joan Cifarelli, performs at various venues throughout the Bay Area and is often a guest artist for the San Francisco Symphony. She has worked with vocalists Joan Baez, Rita Moreno, Bernadette Peters, Jessye Norman and Lisa Vroman. She is also active in the Contra Costa Co. musical theatre community. Vocalist Ella Wolfe has been a professional singer since age twenty-one, performing in concert venues, nightclubs and cabaret rooms throughout the U.S., as well as performing in Bay Area theater and musical theater. Professional musicians Karl Hartmann (bass) and Juan Carreon (drums), are among some of the Bay Area’s most elite and sought-after musicians.
